Good news! Several training courses developed by URelles have just been recognized by the Régie du bâtiment du Québec (RBQ) as part of the mandatory continuing education program for contractors in the construction industry.

These training courses are eligible for all respondents performing work, regardless of their license subcategory, and can be found in the RBQ’s Continuing Education Directory.

Why DEI training in the construction industry?

The diversity of teams and clientele in the construction sector makes it necessary to adopt inclusive management practices, both to improve the work environment and to attract and retain a skilled workforce. Our training programs address these challenges while meeting the RBQ’s mandatory continuing education requirements.

The three training programs recognized by the RBQ

1. Creation of a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (EDI) Action Plan

Duration: 7 hours (7 hours recognized by the RBQ)
This training guides participants in developing a structured and measurable DEI action plan tailored to their organizational reality. It covers the stages of diagnosis, prioritization, implementation, and evaluation, using practical and concrete tools.

2. Creating an inclusive workplace culture

Duration: 6 hours (6 eligible hours)
This training helps managers and teams understand the fundamentals of an inclusive environment and recognize systemic barriers and unconscious biases. Participants leave with concrete strategies for building a culture that values every employee and promotes lasting engagement.

3. Conflict prevention and management in a context of diversity

Duration: 6 hours (6 eligible hours)
In a diverse work environment, conflicts can arise more frequently. This training provides tools to prevent and defuse tensions through intercultural communication, mediation, and inclusive leadership strategies.

Training also recognized by the CMMTQ and the CMEQ

In addition to being listed in the RBQ’s Continuing Education Directory, our training is also eligible for members of the CMMTQ (Corporation des maîtres mécaniciens en tuyauterie du Québec) and the CMEQ (Corporation des maîtres électriciens du Québec) as part of their mandatory continuing education requirements.

This is therefore a unique opportunity for plumbing, heating, ventilation, electrical, and general construction companies to combine organizational development with regulatory compliance.

Ready to take part in mandatory continuing education that has a real impact?

Our training courses are offered online (webinar) or in person, and can also be organized in-house. They are aimed at managers, HR managers, team leaders, and anyone involved in human and organizational management in a construction company.

They are now listed among the eligible training courses in the RBQ’s Continuing Education Directory under the tab “Construction Company Management.
